Very excited to share a collection of remixes of my debut album singles!I love a good remix, often more than the original itself, so I asked a couple of extremely talented mates to choose a track from the album and have a dig, and I love what they’ve done with it!
D.Bailed explains “I loved the drop in the original, I could listen to that instrumental part forever. I extended that melodic section over a chopped up, sped up version of of the original drums”
Body Corp has latched onto the dubby bass line of Cash Out Now. “I liked the ethereal vocals and dubby bassline, so I took that vibe and ran with it. I ended up flipping it pretty far from the original but it’s almost entirely created from heavily processed original stems”
Inspired by these remixes, I decided to do a little rework of the title track of the album. I’ve been listening to a fair bit of old 2 step so it took that shape and was finished in one day after a couple of strong coffees.
